Sabbir Ahmed is a clinical psychotherapist, having worked in the NHS and in education for many years. Sabbir’s practice is founded upon an evidence-based integrative approach, drawing upon CBT, DBT, systemic and psychoanalytic modalities, in addition to mindfulness. Sabbir is here to guide you through your current challenges, and explore the reasons you may face them, working together towards a plan of action.

Qualifications & Training

MA, MBACP (Accred)

Sabbir provides face-to-face and virtual psychotherapy, counselling and couple therapy for adults and adolescents, living in the UK and internationally.

Prior to working in the NHS, Sabbir has studied at the Tavistock and Portman Mental Health Trust, a world-class institute specialising in psychotherapy training, alongside high-quality mental health care and support. In addition, Sabbir has studied CBT at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, part of King’s College London, and DBT with the Association of Psychological Therapy.

Sabbir utilises an integrative, holistic psychotherapeutic approach, drawing upon CBT/DBT, systemic and psychoanalytic therapeutic modalities, in addition to mindfulness.
