Kehinde Brown
Integrative Counsellor

Kehinde is a Counsellor registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), offering short- and long-term integrative therapy for adults seeking clarity and meaningful change. Integrative means she draws on a range of therapeutic techniques and psychological theories tailoring the work to what is most helpful at a given time.
Kehinde’s aim is to offer a compassionate and considered space where clients can make sense of their experiences and move towards greater clarity, confidence and connection. Her approach is warm, relational and grounded in humanistic and psychodynamic principles. She works collaboratively with clients to explore how early experiences, relationships and identity shape emotional wellbeing and everyday life, with attention to culture, identity and context, and with sensitivity to difference.
Kehinde has specialist experience with complex trauma and with survivors of childhood sexual abuse, and she often works with people experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties and ADHD/neurodivergence. She also offers pre-trial therapy for clients involved in the criminal justice process, providing consistent support during a particularly challenging time.
Her ongoing professional development includes advanced trauma and relational training in attachment, developmental trauma and the embodied impact of stress and shame, reflecting her commitment to clinical depth and lifelong learning. She is a member of the UK Psychological Trauma Society (UKPTS) and the European Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ESTSS).
Before becoming a therapist, Kehinde spent more than two decades supporting high-profile individuals and holding relationship management roles across the creative and media industries as well as global organisations. This experience informs her understanding of performance pressure, privacy and emotional regulation in high-visibility or demanding roles, and underpins a discreet, emotionally intelligent style.
Clients in demanding or public-facing roles often appreciate her nuanced understanding of complex professional pressures alongside a calm clinical presence.
She offers a thoughtful, steady pace to the work, helping clients reconnect with themselves and move towards greater authenticity and wellbeing.
Kehinde holds a postgraduate Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling from CPPD, a BACP-accredited qualification. She has undertaken further specialist training in trauma, attachment and relational dynamics. She has also completed specific training in pre-trial therapy and continues her professional development through ongoing study and advanced clinical training. She is a member of the BACP.
