Julieann is an experienced integrative counsellor and psychotherapist accredited by the BACP. She practices at Harley Street and Bromley Old Town Hall. She offers clients either face-to-face support or online, in both individual and group formats, with particular expertise in complex trauma, childhood sexual abuse, and self-esteem. Her way of working is to draw upon different modalities such as CBT and Rewind therapy for PTSD.

Julieann understands the importance of finding the right therapist for you. It can be quite a challenging process and that is why she puts the therapeutic relationship with her client at the heart of her practice. She makes it her priority to create a safe non-judgmental space to allow clients to explore their deepest concerns.

Working in an integrative way means she will hear what you are presenting and draw upon different modalities to support you to a healthier mental well-being. She wants you to know that healing takes time, but every step you take brings you closer to positive change and self.

Her clients come from diverse backgrounds of all age groups, professionals and others in the creative world in which she has lived experience.

Julieann has more than 20 years’ experience in the field of education which has given her valuable insight into the educational system’s ethos. Over the past eight years, she has shifted her focus to counselling. Working in pupil referral units and mainstream schools, she has provided in-person and group work along with developing a drop-in space to assist parents, students, and staff. The issues she worked with included dealing with complex trauma, anxiety, work stress, mental well-being and teenage issues.

She also offers clinical supervision for charities such as Rape Crisis and Granville Consultancy, supporting sexual abuse, schools with critical incidents, and group work with women escaping violence.

Additionally, Julieann’s personal experiences have equipped her to support those dealing with PTSD, neurodiversity, disability, mental health challenges, and the LGBTQI+ community. If you need anything else from me, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I look forward to your response.
