Ebi Umoetuk is an experienced BACP-registered integrative therapist. She works in practice at Harley Street, Bromley and online. Her approach is client-led and she aims to create a relaxed and safe environment where you can both work together to enable you to enhance and live your life more fully. The areas she works with include trauma and loss, anxiety, depression ADD/ADHD, addictions, bereavement, work-related issues, cultural issues, eating disorders, identity issues, infertility, leadership issues, relationship issues, OCD and intrusive thoughts, self-esteem and sexual identity issues.

Ebi is very aware of the importance of finding the right counsellor for you. It can be quite a challenging process and that is why she puts the relationship with her client at the heart of her practice. She makes it her highest priority to create a safe space for clients to allow them to explore their deepest concerns. She works in an integrative and psychodynamic way which means your sessions will focus on both past history and your journey ahead.

As a psychotherapist, Ebi has worked widely with NHS staff. Her list of private clients is diverse, ranging from professionals such as doctors, company directors and lawyers to others in the creative world, including actors, musicians and opera singers. She enjoys the challenge of working with clients from all areas of life and continues to have an involvement in charities with which she has been involved for some years.

Previously, Ebi worked in the City of London as an IT consultant in investment banking for more than 15 years and puts that experience to good use with clients who have work-related issues. She is also qualified to provide clinical supervision to staff in other organisations.

Ebi offers both open-ended and time-focused therapy to individual adults, couples, organisations and young people.

THE FIRST SESSION
The first step is to contact Ebi and book an initial assessment session through email or phone. After that, if you are seeing her face-to-face, you will be greeted by either one of the receptionists or Ebi herself. There is a light and spacious waiting room for you to sit in ahead of the session when Ebi will meet you and take you to the therapy room. It is important to arrive at least five minutes before your initial session. If you decide to work with Ebi online, she will send a link to you via zoom ahead of the first session.
