Bilge Ozbudun (Bea)

Psychodynamic Psychotherapist

bilge ozbudun

Bilge is a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist based mostly at the Priory Hospital North London, a mental health hospital providing inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care for a range of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, PTSD/CPTSD, Eating disorders, OCD, personality disorders and addictions. Bilge also offers private sessions in Harley Street. Her psychoanalytic approach emphasises the significance of the unconscious mind, early experiences and the therapeutic relationship.

She provides 50 minute sessions on a weekly long-term or short-term basis and also facilitates group therapy. Her practice offers a place to explore challenges together, perhaps finding the words where they may have previously been absent before. Besides treating issues, Bilge states that one goes to therapy with oneself, to learn and acknowledge hidden parts and buried feelings and to develop a better relationship with oneself. This, she believes, can be one of the most profound and underrated experiences we can have.

Bilge speaks fluently in both English and Turkish.
