Hi, I am Billi. I am a registered and accredited integrative counsellor and psychotherapist with many years’ experience of working in therapy. I am committed to providing psychotherapy and counselling in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment. I use humanistic, behavioural and psychodynamic interventions and pride myself on working within a client-led dynamic, covering stress, anxiety, trauma and loss.
I have spent several years working with addiction, especially food addiction, OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) and eating disorders. I work with dual diagnosis clients in addiction clinics as well as within other mental health organisations.
I use my experience to help clients and patients expand and improve their emotional skills. Seeking therapy can be a complex journey, requiring both commitment and emotional investment. I believe that, by working within a safe and empowering relationship, we all have the capacity to become agents of change. I work with adults of all ages, in all stages of transition and at critical turning points.
I work in private practice, running a successful and diverse psychotherapy clinic which offers bespoke therapy to the individual. I use a humanistic integrative approach for this purpose which matches my base training and I integrate psychodynamic and behavioural methods into my practice.
As well as working in Harley Street, I work at the Priory Hospital, seeing both in-patients and out-patients and running groups covering psychoeducation and behaviour-led topics. I additionally deliver programmes for life improvement and enhancement techniques.
In order to maintain the highest possible levels of competence and care, I regularly undertake personal supervision and continuing professional development.
I work with most insurance companies, both in my private practice and through the hospital organisation. I am also a qualified clinical supervisor, offering support to trainees and new counsellors and therapists.
HOW IT WORKS
I work with all adults inclusively. I invite you to attend a consultation where we work out if I can be of service to your needs. My sessions last 50 minutes and usually run weekly.
All therapy is based on the therapeutic relationship itself and we will work together within that relationship to uncover and identify patterns of behaviour and thereby look to challenge core beliefs in line with values.
My mission is to explore diversity of experience with empathy and without judgment. My endeavour is to enable you to live a life free of emotional burden.
